Stallions Win Easter Classic

The 11U San Diego Stallions won their third USSSA Easter Classic tournament in a row.
The Stallions won it in 2004 as 9 year olds at Chino Hills CA, last year as 10 year olds in Henderson NV and now this year as 11 year
olds at San Clemente CA. The Stallions will be playing in the Triple Crown San Diego Open this weekend at Canyonside Park.
The 9U and 10U Stallions teams are also playing in the San Diego Open. The 11U Stallions qualified for the Triple Crown World Series in Steamboat
Springs CO by winning the Triple Crown San Diego Christmas Qualifier earlier this season. The 11U Stallions consist of RJ Delatorre, Raymond
Filiberti, Michael Flores, Micalangelo Gapasin, Trey Lomax, Kenyon Lyon, Jake Newberry, Preston Nichols, Joey Portugal, Tanner Wrape, Neiko
Yribe and Lemando Zapanta. Ron Portugal manages the team with coaches Mike Gapasin, Phill Lomax and Tony Yribe.
