Scripps Ranch High School opened in September 1993 with grades 9-12 and has a contemporary, relevant curriculum modeled on Second to None: A Vision of the New California High School, the 1992 report of the California State Department of Education. Scripps Ranch High School embodies the vision of a superior high school supported by students, staff, business and the community. A unique learning environment is provided by a quality, flexible and ethnically diverse staff who work together on interdisciplinary instructional teams. Strong academics; a variety of electives; block scheduling; advisory periods; and the integration and networking of modern technology are also fundamental to the learning environment at this school.
